Shipping Estimates
Special Note: All shipping estimates below are superseded by the estimate with selected Product Options when present.
Orders are not shipped on Sundays or Holidays. All parts orders are shipped by USPS Priority Mail.
Orders for in stock items are typically shipped within 0-2 business days of order processing per the following details for specific products.
Raw Parts Upper and lower receivers are coming off of the CNC machines all day long and are typically on the shelf for immediate shipping in 0-5 business days. We indicate up to 5 days because as a small business other priorities spring up on a regular basis and may need to be dealt with before shipments are made. Most shipments for raw or bead blasted parts go out within 24 hours.
Anodized Parts Uppers and lowers are normally in stock but due to unpredictable demand for specific product options such as Skeletonized versions may be backordered. For this reason those specific lowers are shown as Shipping in 0-2 weeks mostly due to sending out in-stock Raw versions that are to be anodized.
Cerakoted Parts Uppers and lowers are rarely in stock and are shown as Shipping in 0-2 weeks because we send out in-stock Raw versions in small batches to be coated locally to fill those orders as they come in.
7075-T6 Aluminum Parts Uppers and lower receivers are being built once again (as of 7/15), but are rarely in stock and we will only be building 1 out of every 4 weeks. So for now those will show as Shipping in 1-5 weeks to include building them, and then sending them out for Anodize or Cerakote coatings.

Disclaimer: While we are providing useful information below in regards to various state laws currently on the books, these laws are subject to change at any date. We are in no way providing legal advice or counsel, and you should perform your own due diligence regarding the specific laws regarding unfinished firearm frames or receivers in your state or locality.
We can ship to any mailing address in the United States except CA, CO, DE, IL, MD, NJ, NY, OR and WA State plus DC. We do not ship Internationally due to ITAR concerns. By ordering from us you are agreeing to fully comply with all of your local state and local laws that may affect you. Below you can review the specific states that have potential legal ‘issues’ with serialized lowers.
Most of these examples retain to “Unfinished Frames and Receivers”
CA – AB 1621 “(a) No person shall complete the manufacture of a firearm without subsequently (1) obtaining a unique serial number or other mark of identification from the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection pursuant to subsection (b) of this section, and (2) engraving upon or permanently affixing to the firearm such serial number or other mark in a manner that conforms with the requirements imposed on licensed importers and licensed manufacturers of firearms.”
Updated as AB 1594 “(1) … Under existing law, commencing July 1, 2022, a firearm precursor part is required to be sold through a licensed firearm precursor part vendor, as specified.”
– and, “This bill would redefine a firearm precursor part as any forging, casting, printing, extrusion, machined body or similar article that has reached a stage in manufacture where it may readily be completed, assembled or converted (is this per the ATF Rule Chng of 04/11/22?) to be used as the frame or receiver of a functional firearm, or that is marketed or sold to the public to become or be used as the frame or receiver of a functional firearm once completed, assembled or converted.”
– and, “This bill would require any person in possession of an unserialized firearm to apply to the department for a unique mark of identification and to affix that mark to the firearm before January 1, 2024.”
CO – SB 23-279 effectively bans “Possession , transport, sale, offer to sell, transfer or purchase of an unfinished frame or receiver;…” And the CO Legislature defines an Unfinished Frame or Receiver as “Any forging, casting, printing, extrusion, machined body, or similar article that has reached a state in manufacture when it may readily be completed, assembled, or converted to be used as the frame or receiver of a functional firearm;…”.
DE – HB 125 Sec 1459A effectively bans “Possession of an unfinished firearm frame or receiver with no serial number.” And the DE Legislature defines an Unfinished Frame or Receiver as “a firearm frame or receiver that requires further machining or molding in order to be used as part of a functional firearm, and which is designed and intended to be used in the assembly of a functional firearm”.
IL – HB 4383 effectively bans “Possession, transfer or sale of an unfinished firearm frame or receiver with no serial number.” And the IL Legislature defines an Unfinished Frame or Receiver as “any forging, casting, printing, extrusion, machined body, or similar article that: (1) has reached a stage a stage in manufacture where it may readily be completed, assembled, or converted to be a functional firearm”.
MD – SB 0387 Sec 5-701 (H) Defines an “Unfinished Frame or Receiver as a forged, cast, printed, extruded, or machined body or similar article that has reached a stage in manufactured where it can be readily completed, …”
– and, Sec 5-703 (A) states “A person may not purchase, receive, sell, offer to sell, or transfer an Unfinished Frame or Receiver unless it is required by federal law to be, and has been, imprinted with a serial number…”
NJ – NJ state AG has threatened legal action if untraceable weapons are marketed or sold in NJ which has an ‘assault weapons’ ban in place but does not ban 80 percent lowers specifically, and has no means to be issued a SN for a completed lower. A completed AR lower would constitute possession of an ‘illegal’ firearm by state law, but oddly enough a completed 308 lower would not.
NY – Unfinished frames and receivers are legal in NY as long as they are not used to manufacture a Rifle that violates the Safe Act, and as long as they are not used to make a pistol for a person that does not hold a pistol license. But the NY state AG has threatened legal action if 80% lower receivers are marketed or sold in NY state.
OR – HB 2005-C effectively bans “Possession, transferring, selling or offering for sale an unfinished frame or receiver”. And the Oregon Legislature defines an Unfinished Frame or Receiver as “a forging, casting, printing, extrusion, machined body, or similar article that: (A) is designed to or may readily be completed, assembled or otherwise converted to function as a frame or receiver; or (B) is marketed or sold to the public to be completed, assembled or otherwise converted to function as a frame or receiver”.
WA – HB 1739 Sec 3 “…it is unlawful for any person to: (a) Manufacture, own, buy, sell, loan, furnish, transport, or have in possession or under control, any machine gun, bump-fire stock, undetectable firearm, short-barreled shotgun, or short-barreled rifle; … (d) Manufacture an untraceable firearm with the intent to sell the untraceable firearm.”
Updated as HB 1705 “The state prohibits the manufacture of an untraceable firearm with intent to sell. A violation of this restriction is punishable as a class C felony… After June 30, 2022, manufacturing, causing to be manufactured, assembling, causing to be assembled, selling, offering to sell, transferring, or purchasing an untraceable firearm is prohibited.”
Localities – There are several cities and counties that “Prohibit the possession, purchase, sale, receipt or transport of a non-serialized unfinished firearm frame or receiver or non-serialized firearm”. And as everyone knows, banning these specific parts from law abiding citizens will stop all firearms related crime. It must be nice to live in those cities with millions of people and a zero murder rate.
Localities Currently include: DC, Cities of Denver, Los Angeles, Oakland and San Fran, and San Diego County
We Will Ship to These States that have Laws Regarding 80% Lowers
CT – HB 7219 “(a) No person shall complete the manufacture of a firearm without subsequently (1) obtaining a unique serial number or other mark of identification from the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection pursuant to subsection (b) of this section, and (2) engraving upon or permanently affixing to the firearm such serial number or other mark in a manner that conforms with the requirements imposed on licensed importers and licensed manufacturers of firearms.”
HI – HB 2744 amends Sec 134-1 “Prohibits the manufacture, purchase, or obtaining of firearm parts for the purpose of assembling a firearm having no serial number.” but Sec 134-2 provides option and allows you to serialize and register the completed lower.
NV – AB 286 Sec 3 “Prohibits a person from possessing, purchasing, transporting or receiving an unfinished frame or receiver unless: (1) the person is a firearms importer or manufacturer; or (2) the unfinished frame or receiver is required to be, and has been, imprinted with a serial number.” but this was struck down by the NV courts in Dec 2021.
RI – HB 7102 “Prohibits the manufacturing, importation, sale, shipment, delivery, possession, or transfer of any firearm that is ‘undetectable’ by metal detectors commonly used at airports and public buildings including 3D printed firearms as defined herein.”
